The European Workshop on Open Quantum Systems (EWOQS) invites abstract submissions for its upcoming three‑day event dedicated to the field of open quantum systems. This workshop brings together early‑career researchers and leading experts from across Europe for an inspiring exchange of ideas, new methods, and emerging applications.
EWOQS will be held in Cartagena (Spain) on June 15-17 2026 and welcomes contributions spanning all areas of open quantum systems, including (but not limited to):
-Advanced numerical and computational techniques
-Novel theoretical and conceptual frameworks
-Open quantum dynamics in realistic and complex environments
-Applications in condensed matter, quantum optics, quantum information, and beyond
We strongly encourage submissions from early‑career researchers. The workshop is designed to foster interaction, collaboration, and lively scientific discussion in an informal and supportive setting.
Building on the legacy of the long-running UK Polaron Day, EWOQS now expands this spirit of community to the entire European research landscape and beyond.
