Dates:

Monday, June 16, 2025 to Wednesday, June 18, 2025

Organising group(s):

Quantum Software Lab ( University of Edinburgh)

Registration deadline:

Wednesday, April 30, 2025

Submission deadline:

Wednesday, April 30, 2025

As part of the Quantum Fringe 2025 in Edinburgh, FQC2025 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners at the intersection of quantum computing and quantum foundations. The goal is to exchange ideas, share insights, and foster collaborations on the fundamental aspects of quantum computing by bringing together researchers who may not otherwise come together in a small discussion-oriented workshop.

Application Process: The submission of applications is now open and will close on 30 April 2025. Due to the limited number of available spots, there will be a separate registration stage later. After the application phase, all accepted participants must complete their registration and pay the required fee.

This year’s edition of FQC will focus on the following topics:

  1. Models of quantum computing and resources
  2. Foundations of quantum tomography
