Quantum Science and Technology MSc, University of Nottingham

The Quantum Science and Technology MSc programme at University of Nottingham is now open for applications for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The programme is run jointly by the School of Physics and Astronomy and the School of Mathematical Sciences and has a theoretical and an experimental pathway offering modules on Quantum Information Science, Quantum Coherent Devices, Light and Matter, Quantum Metrology, Quantum Computing, Quantum Technology, Machine Learning, Scientific Computation and more.
MSc students will choose their dissertation project from a broad range of mathematical, theoretical or experimental topics supervised by members of staff from Mathematics, Physics and Engineering.
The MSc will feature an exciting range of academic and industrial expert speakers, as well as career workshops with industry representatives. As a postgraduate student, you will be part of the Nottingham quantum community and be able to attend seminars and other research activities organised in the two schools.
