III Quantum Information School in Paraty (Brazil)

This is an introductory- to mid-level postgraduate school, focusing on theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum information and quantum computation. It is targeted at MSc. and PhD students wishing to quickly learn the basics of these rapidly developing fields from some of the world's leading experts.
Each course will consist of 4:30hrs of lectures in English. There will also be a discussion session between students and lecturers.
Following the school there will be an international workshop covering current research and recent advances in these fields. Students are strongly recommended to apply to both events.
It is the third edition of this biennial event in Paraty. This third edition will have lectures given by: i) Barbara Terhal, ii) Carlton M. Caves, iii) Daniel Lidar, iv) David DiVincenzo, v) Robert W. Spekkens, and vi) Stephen Patrick Walborn.
