The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology Group at Stockholm University invites applications for a highly motivated PhD student to join our pioneering research in quantum simulations with trapped Rydberg ions. The aim of the PhD project is to develop a 2D ion trap experiment for open system quantum simulations using Rydberg ions. The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology group at Stockholm University invites applications for a postdoctoral position on our trapped Rydberg ion experiments. The postdoc will work on an experiment to investigate Rydberg physics and perform quantum gates in longer ion strings.

The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology Group at Stockholm University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to contribute to pioneering research in open-system quantum simulations with trapped Rydberg ions. This position is part of the ERC Synergy project "Open 2D Quantum Simulator (OPEN-2QS)".

Work alongside leading researchers (A/Prof Jarryd Pla and Dr Tim Botzem) and get hands-on experience inside one of Australia’s most exciting quantum startups.

We are seeking a Research Scientist for our quantum algorithms team in London or Cambridge, UK.

One Ph.D. position of duration four years is available in the Theoretical at the Institute for theoretical Physics at ETH Zürich. The Ph.D. position will be funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation to achieve the goals of the project "Universality in many-body nonequilibrium dynamics: from hydrodynamics to field theory" coordinated by Dr. Gabriele Perfetto.

The PhD student will be a member of the quantum statistical physics group and co-supervised by Dr. Nicolò Defenu.
