Two postdoctoral positions are available in the group of Quantum Information Theory at KAIST. The successful candidates will work in the research group led by Joonwoo Bae, in topics of fundamental aspects of quantum information theory and their applications to communication, metrology, and computation. One of the two positions is to be jointly affiliated to the group of Beatrix Hiesmayr, University of Vienna (Austria). The topics include quantum protocols, entanglement theory, quantum channels, open quantum systems etc. The expected start date is September 2020 or later.

Become part of our design and verification team with the mission to demonstrate NISQ algorithms on our superconducting quantum processors. The Centre for Quantum Optical Technologies at the University of Warsaw, Poland (qot.uw.edu.pl) seeks to appoint group leaders who will develop ambitious and innovative research effort exploring quantum phenomena, such as superposition and entanglement, in optical and optically controlled system, with the long-term aim of their practical utilisation.
