The Joint Center for Quantum Information and Computer Science (QuICS) is currently seeking outstanding quantum information researchers to join the Center faculty as QuICS Fellows. QuICS is a research partnership between the University of Maryland (UMD) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), with faculty from both institutions. Accordingly, applicants will be considered for tenure-track positions at UMD, and those who are US citizens may also be considered for permanent employment as researchers at NIST.

Applications are invited for a competitive PhD scholarship in Quantum Information Theory at the National University of Ireland, Galway. We are especially interested in Quantum Walks, but any area within quantum computation theory is welcome.

The Role

Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, announces a postdoctoral position in the field of quantum information theory. Applicants are welcome with a background in either of the following (or related) fields:
- estimation theory,
- metrology/sensing,
- quantum communication,
- quantum cryptography,
- quantum optomechanics,
- interferometry with active elements.

Eviden is proposing several permanent positions in quantum software and quantum algorithmics. We are looking for highly talented and motivated quantum software specialists, to join our multi-disciplinary team and work on our winning Qaptiva platform. Our platform is used by a large number of public and private research centers in the USA, Europe, UK and India. It provides unprecedented simulation performances and highly advanced features (as and advanced noise modeling framework).

We are seeking for a postdoc in the filed of theoretical quantum computation. We offer monthly net salary in the range 1500-2300 EUR, depending on the experience). The position will be implemented within the group of dr Michał Oszmaniec in Center for Theoretical Physics PAS in Warsaw. The group is founded form the project "Quantum computers of the near future: challenges, optimal of implementations and applications" awarded by Foundation for Polish Science.
