There is an opportunity for a short (approximately 8 month) theory postdoc position at the University of Exeter (Exeter, United Kingdom). The start date should be from November 2024 (with January 2025 being the latest start date) and the end date is August 2025.
The successful applicant will work in the quantum theory research group of Dr. Charles Downing, whose current interests include quantum batteries (see for example the recent review paper https://doi.org/10.1103/RevModPhys.96.031001), quantum state transfer and non-Hermitian quantum physics.
