The College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst invites applications for tenure-track faculty in the area of Quantum Information Systems. Applicants who work in the areas of quantum communications or networks, and distributed quantum computing are especially encouraged to apply. UMass Amherst is actively growing in the area of quantum information systems: a successful applicant will join an expanding group that spans the Colleges of Engineering and Natural Sciences as well as the College of Information & Computer Sciences, with activities in electrical engineering and physics as well as computer science. The focus of this search is at the Associate and Assistant Professor levels, but exceptional candidates at other ranks may be considered.
