Opening for specialist in atom chips for portable, optical clocks at Cold Atoms and Quantum Optics Group, Nottingham

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled researcher to join our cold atoms team and support an international collaboration on optical clocks. Specifically, we will prototype and test an integrated ultra-cold atoms platform that allows for multiplexed atom trapping, transport, and optical interrogation. The project requires a research visit to the RIKEN institute in Japan before continuing work at Nottingham University.
