The Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, Theoretical Quantum Optics Group at Paderborn University, offers the position of a PhD student (f/m/d)(pay scale 13 TV-L) starting at the earliest opportunity. The position (75% of regular working time) entais a fixed term contract for the duration of the PhD project in the field of theoretical quantum optics, specifically, high-order orbital angular momentum (OAM) in bright squeezed vacuum states (BSV) of light and is initially limited to 3 years (according to the German law “Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz“).
