We’re recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for a 2 year position to begin around August / September 2025. The successful candidate will work closely with Peter Brown and Cambyse Rouzé and join the rapidly growing Inria research team Quriosity located at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Our research covers many domains of quantum information processing but the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to one of more of the following topics:

  • Quantum Hamiltonian complexity
  • Quantum Information theory
  • Quantum Cryptography

Candidate profile

Applicants must hold a PhD in computer science, mathematics or physics on the broad topic of quantum information theory or quantum computing. Familiarity with topics such as: Hamiltonian complexity, Gibbs sampling, polynomial optimization and convex optimization are welcome bonuses but not necessary.
