We are pleased to announce a 3-year postdoctoral position at the Semiconducting Nanostructure Group in the Physics Department of the Federal University of São Carlos, Brazil.
Activities: The project involves optical, magneto-optical, and optoelectronic investigations of single-photon emitters in advanced 2D materials and heterostructures. The selected researcher will design and perform experiments, as well as analyze and interpret the resulting data. The position activities are expected to start on Sept/26.
Mandatory Requirements: Applicants must hold a PhD in Physics obtained within the past seven years and demonstrate solid expertise in optical techniques under cryogenic conditions and in the presence of external magnetic and electric fields. Proficiency in programming (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, or similar languages) is highly desirable.
The project is funded by FAPESP (process number: 2025/23224-9).
Salary: R$ 12,570/month (net).
