The DFG funded position is part of the newly created Collaborative Research Center “Mathematics of Many Body Quantum Systems and Their Collective Phenomena” between the University of Tübingen and the Munich universities TUM and LMU. The research project associated with the position lies at the interface between mathematical physics and quantum information theory and will focus on the study of properties of locality, stability, and correlations for quantum many-body systems. The project is led by JProf. Angela Capel and Prof. Stefan Teufel and the postdoctoral researcher is expected to contribute to the continuation of the research started in arxiv:2310.09182.
The ideal candidate has:
- a doctoral degree in mathematics, physics, or related fields,
- a strong background in mathematical physics and/or quantum information and the ability and willingness to work mathematically rigorously,
- a strong motivation to advance the project by proactively developing personal ideas, good command of the English language (knowledge of German is not required) and
