I am pleased to announce an opening for a postdoctoral researcher to join my group at the Research Center for Quantum Information (RCQI) in Bratislava, Slovakia. The position is funded by project IMPULZ IM-2023-79 “Operational Quantum Thermodynamics”.
• Duration: The position is offered for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension.
• Start date: November 2025 or thereafter (negotiable).
• Salary: €3000 gross per month.
The research topics the selected applicant will work on include, but are not limited to:
• Quantum thermodynamics
• Quantum measurement theory
• Quantum incompatibility
• Quantum operations and channels
• Quantum reference frames
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a strong background in theoretical physics, mathematical physics, or operational quantum theory. Prior experience in one or more of the listed research areas is desirable.
