The Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona (ICCUB, https://icc.ub.edu/) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Position in Quantum Resources for Science and Technology, part of a Unit of Excellence Maria de Maeztu award (2025-2031). The physics focus is on the exploitation of quantum resources for science applications, including quantum simulations of many-body systems.
We seek candidates with a PhD in Physics or related fields, and a strong interest in quantum communication, quantum computation, quantum optics, quantum sensing and/or quantum simulation. The start date is expected to be in Fall 2026 and the position may be funded for up to 3 years. Funding for research activities will be available for postdoctoral candidates too.
