TWO POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITIONS IN QUANTUM THERMODYNAMICS

Applications are being accepted for two postdoctoral research positions
in the Quantum Enabling System Technologies (QuEST) group (https://quest.ku.edu.tr/) of
Professor Ozgur E. Mustecaplioglu at Koc University. Both positions will primarily involve theoretical
studies of quantum thermodynamical properties of systems for specific applications.

One position will focus on design and applications of quantum fuels for space applications with
multi-qubit systems and quantum coherence, while the other position will be focused on quantum
thermodynamical properties of topological matter.

Both positions are for the projects of our group supported by TUBITAK (National Science Foundation of Turkey).
The projects are within the scopes of some EU-COST actions (Quantum Technologies for Space and Atom Quantum Technologies) with plenty of international and national collaborations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field and substantial experience in at
least one of the following areas: topological insulators, quantum thermodynamics, quantum optics,
quantum optomechanics.

The appointment will be for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of renewal for a
