The successful candidate will work on continuous- and discrete-variable quantum information at the interface with condensed matter theory in direct collaboration between the experimental quantum optics group of Olivier Pfister and theory group of Israel Klich. Demonstrated experience with continuous-variable quantum information is a plus; however, all candidates with superior proficiency in quantum information, AMO physics and/or condensed matter theory will be considered. The completion of a Ph.D. degree in Physics or closely related field by appointment start date is required. Candidates must have effective oral and written communication skills.
