We are seeking a skilled and experienced researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct literature reviews, define and manage research projects in collaboration with our external partner PASQAL, and contribute to scientific publications and presentations. Responsibilities include supervising students, leading reading groups, and maintaining updated resources on key researchers and journals in the field.

As the Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will undertake research on quantum communication systems using the sneakernet model of quantum comms [arXiv: 1410.3224]. You will work with hardware models of quantum memory systems, specifically in Ion-Trap, neutral atom and donor based systems, utilising high-density quantum low density parity check codes.

As the Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will undertake research on quantum error correction and large-scale, error-corrected system design utilising Neutral atom systems. You will be required to act as principle architectural scientist for UTS:QSI’s quantum compilation system, Rottnest. Your role will be to work with the Rottnest design team and leading researchers and industry partners focused on quantum computing in neutral atom systems to integrate large-scale architectural models for quantum computers with our Rottnest compiler framework.
