PhD candidate in Quantum Compiler Technologies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology
The position is sponsored by the NFR project Smart Precision for Quantum Resilience.
This project aims at combining techniques and tools from precision tuning and other approximate computing techniques to the problem of optimising the choice for error correction codes in logical qubits implementations. These techniques should, whenever appropriate, be implemented within static code analysis tools, such as a compiler.
This project is planned as a collaboration between NTNU and another academic institution based in Italy. The successful candidate will work as a core member of the NTNU team while maintaining close collaboration with the partner institution in an international environment.
