Advanced Photonics Lab

We are interested in the study of polariton quantum fluids of light, the investigation of frontier physics mainly related to the interactions and coupling of light with matter both from a macroscopic point of view as well as at the single particle level. We study collective coherent phenomena of condensates of Bose-Einstein in semiconductor materials, exploiting quasiparticles generated by the strong coupling between light and excited states of matter.

International Summer School on Driven-Dissipative Many-Body Systems

As part of the DFG FOR5688 consortium and EU COST action CA24109, we are pleased to invite you to the International Summer School on Driven-Dissipative Many-Body Systems, to be held on 22–26 June 2026 at the brand-new CaleDo building, TU Dortmund.

The school is designed for doctoral students and early-career researchers, but participation is open to everyone, subject to available places. It aims to provide both a broad introduction and advanced methodological training in the rapidly developing field of open and driven quantum many-body systems.
