We are delighted to announce that the Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) conference will take place this year in Barcelona, from October 6th to 10th. YQIS is a conference series organized by and for PhD students and early-career researchers working across the broad field of quantum information. It provides a platform for young scientists to present their latest work and engage with the wider community.
Topics include quantum foundations, quantum computing, quantum machine learning, many-body physics, and quantum cryptography. The program will feature tutorial-style talks (approximately one hour each) designed to be accessible to all PhD students in quantum information science. This year, we expect around 200 participants, including approximately 40 contributed talks (15 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A) and two poster sessions. Applications for talks and posters are open until the 18th of July 2025 and the registration deadline is the 15th of August. We are also pleased to offer a limited number of travel fellowships.
