Quantum technologies promise to revolutionize our ability to acquire, communicate, and process information. However, the fundamental limits of quantum technologies—stemming from factors including external noise, energetic costs, and the complexity of controlling many-body dynamics—are still not fully understood. This conference will bring together experts bridging theory, experiment, and commercial applications, to address questions such as:

  • Can the limitations of near-term quantum devices be circumvented for practical applications?
  • What are the fundamental limits of precise quantum measurement and control?
  • How can quantum technologies be made more robust and energy-efficient?

Our goal is to foster an environment where tools and concepts can be shared between researchers from diverse backgrounds and career stages, shaping a broader understanding of how these fundamental limits will impact the future development of quantum technologies.

The conference will be held in the heart of Dublin, right next to the historic campus of Trinity College Dublin. The event is organised by the ASPECTS consortium with the generous support of the EU Quantum Flagship. Our exciting list of invited speakers will be announced soon!

Abstract submission is open until 1st May. Early-bird registration (including a significant discount for students) is currently open: see the conference website for all details.
