QIPLSIGML — machine learning meets quantum computation. A three-day meeting of machine learning and quantum computation communities.

The goal of the meeting is to acquaint Polish actors of the IT sector such as: researchers, engineers and entrepreneurs with quantum computation and its near term applications. Recent progress in quantum machine learning theory justifies a belief that quantum computation will find near-term applications in machine learning practice.

The event will take place in Kraków, Poland at the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications of the AGH University of Science and Technology on April 26th, 27th and 28th 2018.

The participants of the meeting will mostly be machine learning and quantum information researchers, computer science students and representatives of Polish IT companies.

The meeting will be divided into tree parts. The first part (26th of April) will be a regular meeting of the Polish-SIGML group. The second part (27th of April) will consist of introductory talks on quantum information theory and presentations of quantum computation solutions for machine learning. The third part (28th of April) will be an industrial day.
