Organising group(s):
Q+ Hangout: Bill Wootters
Registration deadline:
Saturday, December 14, 2013
Submission deadline:
Thursday, November 14, 2013
Paper submissions are invited in the rapidly growing field of quantum communication networks. Quantum communication technologies are advancing swiftly to achieve their grand objective of being part of our daily lives. The past few years, in particular, have witnessed tremendous progress toward this end. The focused workshop on quantum communication networks would bring together experts in the field for two days of scientific discussions and collaboration. The workshop consists of invited and contributed talks as well as open free style sessions to initiate collaborations and team building. We are delighted to have the following invited speakers (list to be completed):
Dagmar Bruss, Universität Düsseldorf
Eleni Diamanti, CNRS, Telecom Paristech
Xiongfeng Ma, Tsinghua University
Bill Munro, NTT, Japan
Andreas Poppe, Austrian Institute of Technology
Andrew Shields, Toshiba Research Europe
Paolo Villoresi, Univeristy of Padova
You are invited to submit an abstract on any topic related to the main theme of the workshop including, but not limited to,
• Quantum key distribution (QKD) over commercial fibre
• Integration of quantum and classical communication networks
• Multi-user QKD networks
• Long-distance QKD
• Quantum repeaters
• Satellite QKD
You will be notified of the acceptance of your submission, as a poster or a talk, by 1 Dec 2013.
