A fully funded PhD position is available to work in the newly founded Thermodynamics and energetics of quantum systems group (QuSys) in the School of Physics at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland lead by Prof. John Goold. A fully-funded PhD position is available at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, to conduct forefront theoretical research in the quantum information sciences, working with Dr Peter Rohde within the Centre for Quantum Software & Information (QSI).

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Ph.D. student willing to join the international team undertaking a new, 3-year "First Team" research project entitled Integrated optics in time-frequency domain: a new versatile platform for quantum technologies, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science. The international project aims at research in the field of theoretical condensed matter as well as theoretical and experimental quantum optics.

We seek for a talented and independent graduate student who wishes to develop her/his scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment. This doctoral degree project will be carried out in the quantum photonics group led by Ana Predojevic (http://qphotonics.fysik.su.se). The successful candidate should have interest in quantum technologies, specifically quantum information and communication.

A fully funded PhD student scholarship is available to work at the Centre for Quantum Software and Information with the University of Technology Sydney in downtown Sydney. The student, who has a strong background and interest in applied mathematics, will do research under my supervision to further develop the mathematical foundations of quantum information theory and explore its various applications, specifically to quantum and post-quantum cryptography. The groups of Jun.-Prof. Carsten Schuck and Prof. Wolfram Pernice (Physics Institute) offer a PhD-position in close collaboration with the group of Prof. Stefan Heusler (Didactics of Physics) at the University of Münster in Germany.

A range of PhD and PostDoctoral positions are available for TheBlinQC (Theory-Blind Quantum Control). Areas include Theory and Control of Opto-Mechanical Systems, Experiments with Rydberg Crystals, Experimental Opto-Mechanics with a Levitated Nano-Sphere, Quantum Control Theory, Theory of Many-Body Physics, in particular time crystals, and Control Theory, in particular Kalman Filters. Locations are Olomouc, Stuttgart, Vienna, Aberystwyth, Kraków, Lisbon and London.
