Superconducting circuits represent a very promising platform for actualizing quantum information processors. This postdoctoral research opportunity will involve design, fabrication and characterization of superconducting qubit systems. The primary focus of the research will be stabilizing entangled quantum states of multiple superconducting qubits.

Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, announces one post-doc and one Ph.D.-student positions in theory of quantum information processing with photonic continuous variables, funded within EU Quantum Flagship and a national research project. The International Institute of Physics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (IIP-UFRN) is expecting to fill two post-doctoral research positions in the fields of theoretical Quantum Information, Quantum Causality and Foundations of Quantum Mechanics. We are currently offering a position on quantum thermodynamics within a newly installed international research network. The successful candidate will work in the research group for quantum information theory led by Jens Eisert at the Dahlem Center for Complex Quantum Systems of the Free University of Berlin.
