We are looking for a young, proactive researcher willing to promote change and transform Mexico through research to fill a postdoctoral position at Tec de Monterrey, Mexico’s Top University according to THE and top 10 in LatinAmerica according to QS.

The goal of this position is to generate analytic models and finite element simulations of semi-classical opto-mechanical systems for high precission sensing at finite temperature.

We are offering one appointment for a junior postdoctoral scholar in finite spin-boson systems at INAOE Monterrey. The scholar will join our group efforts to explore the quantum Rabi model and afine finite extensions like the cross-cavity quantum Rabi model.

The ideal candidate will have a recently obtained (<= 5 years) Ph.D. in physics or engineering with research experience on quantum optics or AMO physics. Practical knowledge of the quantum Rabi model is desired.

Level: Entry.

Duration: One year.

We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate for projects focused on quantum control engineering with trapped ions and trapped-ion quantum simulation in linear Paul traps. You will be directly integrated into our major international projects collaborating with other global leaders in quantum information.

The position is Full-Time, 12 Months Fixed Term (with a possible extension), Academic Level A: Base Salary: AUD 92,682 p.a. - AUD 98,940 p.a. plus a generous employer’s contribution to superannuation.

Title: Postdoctoral and PhD positions are available at QIT@KAIST, Korea.

Postdoctoral and PhD positions are available in the group of Quantum Information Theory at KAIST. The successful candidates will work as part of the research group led by Joonwoo Bae, in topics of fundamental aspects of quantum information theory and their applications to communication, metrology, and computation. The topics include quantum protocols, entanglement theory, quantum channels, etc.

The Group led by Prof. Radim Filip at Palacky University (http://muj.optol.cz/filip/) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher in quantum parameter estimation with quantum non-Gaussian states of light and matter allowing error correction strategies. Expertise with non-Gaussian quantum optics, quantum cavity/circuit electrodynamics and physics of trapped atoms/ions will be valued, but an open-minded researcher ready for a new challenge is most welcome.
