Job description:
The postdoc will theoretically analyze the possibility to optically couple steady quantum gates and devices at a short distance and propose new experiments. The task includes an optimization of quantum non-Gaussian states of light to interconnect atomic and solid-state systems and development of feasible strategies to reduce optical transmission errors. EU project ShoQC (https://www.quantera.eu/calls-for-proposals/funded-projects-call-2019/10...) will support this activity for 2 years. The postdoc will intensively collaborate with Dr. Lukas Lachman and experimental ShoQC partners abroad. Prof. Dr. Radim Filip will lead the project work and will be a mentor for this position.
Requirements:
PhD in Quantum Physics;
Specialization and track-record in quantum optics, quantum information, light-atom interaction, superconducting circuits or solid-state quantum systems
Ability to communicate and write in English.
