Postdoc for the development of quantum computing applications

The position is within the newly founded Center for Quantum Technology Applications (CQTA) in Zeuthen. The activities include the development of quantum computing applications and running simulations on quantum hardware.

About your role:
• Development of quantum computing applications within the Center for Quantum Technology Application in Zeuthen
• Development of quantum algorithms and performing simulations on quantum hardware

About you:
• PhD in physics, mathematics or quantum information theory or equivalent qualifications
• Expertise in quantum computing applications, in particular in hybrid quantum/classical quantum algorithms
• Experience in running quantum algorithms on quantum hardware
• Knowledge in optimization algorithms
