One postdoc would be working on Coherent Ising Machines (CIMs), the dynamics of coupled Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs) and related topics (including, e.g., topological photonics, quantum non-Hermitian dissipative dynamics, PT-symmetry in optics, etc.).

Another postdoc would be working on quantum computing, especially using superconducting arrays of coupled resonators and qubits.

More senior candidates could be considered for a Research Scientist position.

Applications are sought for a Post Doctoral Research Associate position in quantum imaging (16 months). The position is based at the Institute of Photonics (IoP, Department of Physics) at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. Gross salary range: £33,309 - £36,382.

The quantum information Science group of Animesh Datta seeks to appoint a PostDoc for 24 months (starting no later than 1 March 2022), with a possibility of extension, in the area of quantum verification with particular emphasis on applying quantum accreditation to problems in physics and quantum annealing.

The position is based at the University of Warwick, UK, and is part of a multi-institution project involving partner groups at Durham University, University College London, and London South Bank University, funded under the ExCALIBUR cross-cutting theme.

The selected candidate is expected to start at the beginning of year 2022, for up to two years.
