One Ph.D. position of duration four years is available in the Theoretical at the Institute for theoretical Physics at ETH Zürich. The Ph.D. position will be funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation to achieve the goals of the project "Universality in many-body nonequilibrium dynamics: from hydrodynamics to field theory" coordinated by Dr. Gabriele Perfetto.
The PhD student will be a member of the quantum statistical physics group and co-supervised by Dr. Nicolò Defenu.
We are launching a new ultracold atom experiment in Donostia/San Sebastian utilizing dysprosium atoms in programmable optical tweezer arrays. This state-of-the-art platform will incorporate a quantum gas microscope and other cutting-edge technologies. This initiative is part of a strong collaboration between DIPC (Spain) and the University of Innsbruck (Austria), fostering a dynamic exchange of expertise.
We are looking for two PhD Students to work in the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT) hosted by the University of Gdańsk. The positions are offered in the Quantum Devices in Computer Science Group (QDCS) led by Michał Studziński.
This recruitment concerns PhD student positions created as part of the SONATA-BIS project No. UMO-2024/54/E/ST2/00316, entitled "Efficient higher-order quantum computations". The project is financed by the National Science Centre (NCN) in Poland.
Applications are invited for 1 Postdoctoral position in the areas of quantum cryptography and quantum foundations at QICI Quantum Information and Computation Initiative of the Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong.
The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore brings together physicists, computer scientists and engineers to do basic research on quantum physics and to build devices based on quantum phenomena. Experts in this new discipline of quantum technologies are applying their discoveries in computing, communications, and sensing. CQT is hosted by the National University of Singapore. The Centre also has staff at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. With some 200 staff and students, it offers a friendly and international work environment.
Applications are now open for the CECAM Flagship Workshop on “Open Software for Neural Wavefunctions,” to be held July 2–4, 2025, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
This workshop will bring together leading researchers, software developers, and newcomers to chart the future of Neural Quantum States research and its supporting open-source infrastructure.
