Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

Applications are invited for a Ph.D. position at the Centre for Quantum Computer Science, University of Latvia, lead by prof. Andris Ambainis. The Centre is among the strongest European research groups in quantum algorithms and currently consists of 4 faculty members and 13 postdocs and graduate students.

Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, announces a postdoctoral position in the field of quantum estimation theory. The main objective of the project is to develop new techniques or use the existing state-of-the-art methods of quantum estimation theory to some physical applications, such as quantum communication, quantum cryptography, quantum metrology or interferometry with active elements. Applicants are welcome with a background in information theory or in any of the mentioned fields of application.

Palacky University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, announces a postdoctoral position in the field of theoretical quantum optomechanics. The main goal of the project is connecting the most recent developments in quantum optomechanics and trapped quantum systems with the field of estimation theory and quantum sensing.

The study of quantum coherent dynamics is currently one of the most active and exciting areas in physics. It holds the promise for the development of new technologies (quantum computing, quantum metrology,...) and, at the same time, has already delivered insights into the foundations of quantum mechanics. Its fast moving pace and new approach has attracted many young researchers and summer schools - at which leading experts share their knowledge and directly interact with the participants - have become an integral part of the community.
