Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We are als distributing news via X (Twitter) feed and Bluesky news feed. We also encourage following us using social media sites.

In the last decade, the Ryu-Takayanagi (RT) proposal has shed important light on the nature of quantum gravity by holographically tying it to the entanglement entropies of a dual conformal field theory. In recent years, however, theoretical considerations AdS black holes have shown that more is needed for the holographic description of bulk geometries.

Two postdocs positions are available in the computer science department of tne university of Bergen, Bergen, Norway. These are general positions and the deadline is 5th February, 2019 ...... you need to apply via this website:

Within the the EU QT-Flagship, the OpenSuperQ consortium will build a cloud-based superconducting quantum computer at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. As part of this effort, we are currently seeking a Postdoc in Computational Quantum Chemistry, who will work in the Chalmers team modelling physical systems on quantum computers.

The quantum group in Malta is looking to recruit an experienced postdoctoral researcher in the field of topological optomechanical devices. This is a two-year position funded by the Julian Schwinger Foundation.

This project aims to investigate optomechanical arrays as a platform for the amplification, processing, and routing of phonons. It will feature close collaboration with Dr Vittorio Peano (Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Erlangen).

Subject area Information and Communication Technologies are essential to modern society as the internet is pervading all aspects of our lives. Quantum mechancis imposes a fundamental limit to the communication rates, whose determination is a pivotal challenge. Given the amount of sensitive information sent through the internet, secure communications are essential to our society.
