The 2nd CEMS International Symposium on Dynamics in Artificial Quantum Systems (DAQS2018) will be held in Tokyo during January 15-17, 2018. It is organized by the Quantum Information Electronics Division of Center for Emergent Matter Science (CEMS), RIKEN.

We have an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Staff Member in the field of experimental circuit quantum electrodynamics (CQED) based emulation of open quantum system dynamics, quantum information and quantum emulation. You will apply expertise in design, fabrication, characterization and control of CQED systems in collaboration with theory teams to realize platforms for direct quantum emulation of open quantum system dynamics. This position is in the Quantum Coherent Device Physics group, Condensed Matter Section, of the Physics Division.

We have an opening for a research scientist to work on developing novel quantum devices, experiments, and methods for applications in open quantum system dynamics, quantum information, and quantum emulation/simulation. You will work with the quantum device design team to envision, create, build and test the next generation of quantum hardware to enable DOE science and technology missions. This position is in the Quantum Coherent Device Physics group of the Physics Division.

We have an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Staff Member in the field of high performance computing (HPC) simulation of open quantum system dynamics, quantum information and quantum emulation. You will apply your background and knowledge in HPC, numerical simulation of quantum systems and interest in working with experimental teams to realize platforms for quantum emulation. This position is in the Quantum Coherent Device Physics group, Condensed Matter Section, of the Physics Division.
