Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

European Physical Journal D, will publish a topical issue on Quantum Correlation. Deadline for submission is July 31 2018.

The purpose of this topical issue is to present both theoretical and experimental works addressed to investigate these concepts and their role in various areas of quantum science and quantum technologies. This issue is prepared in response to the challenges and visions outlined in the European Commission Quantum Technologies Flagship strategic document, and the commitment of the EC to support research in quantum technologies.

We are seeking a highly qualified and ambitious candidate for a
position as an early stage researcher with the aim of a PhD
within the framework of the European Training Network
ColOpt. For further information see https://www.colopt.eu/
The position at the Experimental Quantum Optics and
Photonics Group of the Department of Physics of the University
of Strathclyde is aimed at the realization of self-organized spin
and density ordering of cold atoms. The candidate will explore

The Chair of Excellence in Philosophy of Quantum Physics in Grenoble solicits applications for a 3-year PhD position attached to the Chair within the interdisciplinary project ‘The entanglement of physics and philosophy’ starting 1 January 2019 (please see below for more information on the project).

At Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU, Be’er Sheva campus), a new quantum technology lab was recently inaugurated to promote the development of state-of-the-art quantum technology and its transfer to the industry.
One of the projects in this lab is to realize a new atomic optical lattice clock. The project is supervised by Dr. Filippo Levi of INRIM (Italian National Metrology Institute) and Dr. Ron Folman of BGU Israel. We are searching for a project leader to build and run the clock on a long term basis.

The launch of the projects funded within the QuantERA Call 2017 will be officially celebrated at the Projects’ Launch Event in Bucharest, Romania.

The event will take place on:

April, 24th – OPEN DAY (registration required)
April, 25th - Parties involved in the QuantERA Programme only
