Dartmouth College seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Theoretical and Computational Molecular Science. The ideal candidate will use theoretical chemistry and computational modeling approaches to address foundational and practical questions about molecular structure, function, energetics, spectroscopy, reaction kinetics, and their impact in systems of biological interest. Preference will be given to candidates with applications geared towards biochemistry including but not limited to enzyme catalysis, photosynthesis, and drug design.

The physics department at H.I.T. - Holon Institute of Technology is seeking candidates for a faculty position that involves research and teaching (in Hebrew). Candidates after a post-doctoral training whose research is in an applied field are preferred. Send CV to fnfrucht@hit.ac.il.

Application Deadline: Until the position is filled
Start date: 1 October 2018 or 1 February 2019

We are looking for talented and ambitious graduates with Master in Physics
who wish to pursue a Ph.D. in Quantum Optics and Quantum Metrology.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Vincenzo
Tamma at the School of Mathematics and Physics and Institute of Cosmology and
Gravitation at the University of Portsmouth, UK and Dr. Frank Narducci at the
Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, USA.

The project is to carry out research in the broad field of non-equilibrium quantum and classical many-body system, including cold atomic gases, quantum optical systems, classical glassy and driven systems, neural networks and machine learning, and systems at the interface of classical and quantum.

Skoltech’s Deep Quantum Labs is seeking two highly-talented and fast thinking developers (level depends on experience) to utilize our new supercomputing facility. This facility is maintained and operated by CDISE (Skoltech) and opens the door to large-scale internationally competitive simulations (500000+ NVidia – Volta – GPU cores and 2000 CPU cores).
