The Group of Optical Communication at the Civil, Aeronautical and Computer Science Engineering Department of Università Roma Tre, Rome, Italy is looking for a 2-YEAR POSTDOC to work with Dr. Matteo Rosati on the PNRR project “Smart Quantum Information Decoders”.

General Conditions

The post-doc position is offered by the University of Cagliari (Italy) for 18 months (renewable for an additional 6 months). The net salary will be approximately 1700-1800 euros per month. Part of the work can be done remotely. The Deadline for application is January 19th.

Contributed talks are now open for submissions. Talks will be selected based on scientific excellence, alignment with the workshop's theme, and program balance. Submissions should correspond to recent research contributions in quantum information and computation.

We are pleased to announce the Quantum Center Research Fellowship program, which funds PhD students and postdocs hosted by research groups of the Quantum Center, ETH Zurich.

The fellowship supports innovative and original scientific research that fits well into the context of the host group while fostering the independence of the fellow. The next application deadline is February 20, 2024.

A two-year position on the development of quantum computing methods for molecular electronic structure is available at the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy). The position is funded by an Innovation Grant of the National Centre for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing. The research is in collaboration with ENI SpA and is devoted to calculation of molecular potential energy surfaces using compact wavefunctions, suitable for current NISQ devices.
