Welcome to Quantiki

Welcome to Quantiki, the world's leading portal for everyone involved in quantum information science. No matter if you are a researcher, a student or an enthusiast of quantum theory, this is the place you are going to find useful and enjoyable! While here on Quantiki you can: browse our content, including fascinating and educative articles, then create your own account and log in to gain more editorial possibilities.

Add new content, such as information about upcoming quantum events, open positions for quantum scientists and existing quantum research groups. We also encourage to follow us using social media sites.

We have openings for talented young scientists who are ready to take up a leadership role in our group and to spearhead new initiatives and provide supervision and guidance to junior members of the team.

Are you enthusiastic about quantum computers and software technology? Join us in shaping the future of quantum computing!
Our team, Quantum algorithms and software at VTT, is on a mission to explore near-term quantum applications and develop cutting-edge software solutions. We actively contribute to the development of VTT's quantum computers, maintaining the software stack for seamless execution, and providing access to academic and commercial entities. Our research spans topics such as error mitigation, quantum measurements, quantum machine learning, quantum finance, and quantum chemistry.

The group led by Prof. Radim Filip at Palacky University (http://muj.optol.cz/filip/ [2]) is offering new prestigious positions within the Center of Excellence (for 5 years) for highly creative, open-minded and engaged

- three PhD students
- three junior postdoctoral researchers
- two senior researchers (tenure)

in theoretical physics with quantum non-Gaussian states of bosonic systems (for example, trapped atoms and ions, cavity and wave-guide QED, superconducting circuits, mechanical oscillators, pulsed light, etc.).

The Quantum Engineering and Design Unit (https://groups.oist.jp/qed), headed by Prof.Bill Munro and located at OIST Graduate University, invites applications for postdocs or staff scientist (for more senior researchers) in theoretical quantum science and technology. Research topics of interest include:
- The design and modeling of quantum devices and systems
- The design of quantum network technologies for a future quantum internet including edge and fog computing

The International Conference on the Art, Science, and Engineering of Programming (Programming› 2024)

The Second International Workshop on the Art, Science, and Engineering of Quantum Programming (QP 2024) will provide a platform for researchers and practitioners interested in the Art, Science, and Engineering of Quantum Programming and its relation with classical programming to discuss research challenges, possible solutions, and future research directions. Such discussion could build the road map for quantum programming.

The workshop is intended for researchers, including students, at any stage of their careers. Moreover, practitioners are also a relevant audience for the workshop.

Submission page: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=qp2024
Submission deadline: 22 January 2024.

QP2024 will feature two types of events. First, we will have a session on presenting papers accepted in the workshop. The rest of the workshop will be focused on a dedicated discussion of the workshop topics in a similar fashion as Dagstuhl or Shonan to draft a roadmap on the topic of the workshop. The workshop organizers will send invitations to the researchers working in this area. However, the workshop is open to anyone who is interested. Please consult the workshop chairs if you are interested in joining the workshop.

The workshop is organized as a part of The International Conference on the Art, Science, and Engineering of Programming (Programming› 2024)
