The AG Zilberberg group at the University of Konstanz is inviting applications for a graduate student on the project “Coherent phase logic”. We, at the Quantum Information and Many Body Physics group at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, are looking for excellent, motivated and creative postdoctoral researchers, for a challenging ERC project focusing on the study of lattice gauge theories using tensor networks (PEPS).

National Taiwan University (NTU) and National Center for Theoretical Sciences (NCTS) Physics Division, Taiwan, are inviting applications for several postdoctoral positions in the following areas of quantum computing: (1) Experimental quantum computing for silicon-based quantum-dot spin qubits, (2) Quantum Computing and Quantum Information Theory, and (3) Interdisciplinary Applications on Quantum Computing. Candidates will work on funded quantum computing projects that have both experimental and theoretical aspects.

The post is part of a recently funded EPSRC grant “Unlocking the potential of Quantum LDPC Codes for low-overhead fault-tolerance” and is key to delivering its outcomes. It is a collaboration with the research groups of Alastair Kay (Royal Holloway) and Ivan Rungger (Royal Holloway and NPL).

The position is funded for 12 months in the first instance, until 31st March 2025.

Research Associate for the Project “Efficient Quantum Algorithms for the Aviation Industry (EQuAL)” § 28 Subsection 3 HmbHG at Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences, Department of Physics, Institute for Quantum Physics

Start date: as soon as possible pending approval of external funding, fixed until 31.01.2027 (This is a fixed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act.

A postdoctoral position is available in the field of nanostructures and optics. The project aims to develop photonic nanostructures with integrated quantum emitters. Ideally, the candidate should have experience in optical characterization and nano-fabrication. It is advantageous if you have experience in epitaxy.
