The Department of Mathematics at the University of York is seeking to appoint a Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or Reader in Quantum Information to contribute to the continued strength of this field at York (roughly equivalent to an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor).

The Quantum Information and Foundations group sits within the Mathematical Physics group, which conducts research across a wide range of sub-fields of classical and quantum physics, and alongside the wider inter-departmental York Centre for Quantum Technologies, which hosts the £24M UK Quantum Communications Hub. The successful candidate will bring distinctive research quality to these groups, and will contribute to teaching within the Department of Mathematics.
