POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS
The physics of quantum information team at the physics department of the Université de Sherbrooke invites applications for up to two postdoctoral positions in the groups of Alexandre Blais and of Bertrand Reulet. In addition to being able to pursue their own research agendas, the successful applicants will be involved in the group’s activities, which includes:

- Blais’ group: Theoretical aspects of superconducting qubits, circuit quantum electrodynamics, quantum optics in solid-state devices, theory of quantum limited amplifiers, ...

- Reulet’s group: Experimental investigation of quantum and non-gaussian noise in various mesoscopic devices, links with quantum optics, and dynamical properties of hybrid systems

The physics of quantum information team at the Université de Sherbrooke is composed of four faculty members, Alexandre Blais, Michel Pioro-Ladrière, David Poulin, and Bertrand Reulet whose research interests cover both theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum information science and mesoscopic physics. GRADUATE STUDENTS
The physics of quantum information team at the physics department of the Université de Sherbrooke invites applications for M.Sc. and PhD projects positions. The group is composed of four faculty members: Alexandre Blais, Michel Pioro-Ladrière, David Poulin, and Bertrand Reulet, whose research interests cover both theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum information science and mesoscopic physics. The successful applicants will be involved in the group’s activities, which includes:

- Experimental realization of spin qubits in various materials (GaAs, SiGe, InAs, NV centers,...)
- Experimental investigation of quantum and non-gaussian noise in various mesoscopic devices, links with quantum optics, and dynamical properties of hybrid systems
- Theoretical aspects of superconducting qubits, circuit quantum electrodynamics, quantum optics in solid-state devices, theory of quantum limited amplifiers,...
- Quantum information theory including quantum error correction, quantum algorithms design, and numerical methods for many-body problems (PEPS, MPS, DMRG).

VISITING SCIENTIST
The physics of quantum information team at the physics department of the Université de Sherbrooke invites applications for a visiting professor/sabbatical program. Applicant should be an active researcher in the field of quantum information science.The group is composed of four faculty members, Alexandre Blais, Michel Pioro-Ladrière, David Poulin, and Bertrand Reulet whose research interests cover both theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum information science and mesoscopic physics. Interested candidates should contact one of the four faculty. Financial arrangements and start date are flexible.
