Eviden is proposing a permanent position of senior research engineer in quantum physics applied to quantum computing. We are looking for a highly talented and motivated quantum specialist, to join our multi-disciplinary team and work on our winning Qaptiva platform. Our platform is used by a large number of public and private research centers in the USA, Europe, UK and India. It provides unprecedented simulation performances and highly advanced features ( quantum noise simulation , noise characterization tomography, quantum annealing emulation,...)
Part of the job will be to contribute to collaborative scientific projects with academic partners. As well, supervision of PhD and master students is part of the position.
Profile: you own a PhD in quantum physics (theoretician or experimenter), with a good knowledge of quantum information and quantum computing concepts. You are comfortable with quantum noise modeling and characterization techniques. You are also fluent in software programming, in particular in python and C++.
The position is located in Paris' region (France). A European citizenship or a French work permit are mandatory to apply.
