Post-doctoral Position @ Quantum Information and Foundations Group (QUINFOG) in Madrid

Our group has funding for post-doc funding for 2026-2027 from the projects “Nanophotonic-based Quantum Simulation and sensing” from Fundación BBVA and national projects from Alejandro González Tudela.

The potential topics to work with are many-body quantum optics, design of analogue and programmable quantum simulators for relevant many-body physics problems, waveguide QED, or quantum nanophotonics, among other topics. Potential collaborators are: Carlos Sánchez Muñoz, Alejandro Manjavacas, Daniel González Cuadra, Tomás Ramos, Alvaro Gómez León, and others member of the QUINFOG group.

We offer up to two years of post-doc contract with approximately 2k€ netto. Besides, QUINFOG’s group offers a stimulating and collaborative atmosphere, a strong network of national and international collaborators.
