Post-doctoral researcher in the field of laser radiation - matter (atoms and color centers in diamond crystals) interaction and/or quantum magnetic field sensors

We are seeking to appoint a post-doctoral researcher who will be part of the research efforts to develop quantum sensors for magnetic field measurement. The researcher will be joining the research team of the Laser Centre of the University of Latvia currently researching alkali atom and Nitrogen - vacancy centers in diamond interaction with laser radiation in presence of external fields and developing quantum field sensors based on these quantum objects. These efforts are funded by Latvian Quantum initiative, Latvian Science council, NATO Science for Peace and Security program and European Defense Fund.
