PostDoc position in experimental quantum optics and quantum information processing in KIST (fixed term 2 years, possibly extendable)

At the centre for quantum information, KIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology), we are seeking highly motivated early career researchers who intend to enhance his or her career on the experimental quantum optics and quantum information. For an overview of research activities of the centre, see quantum.kist.re.kr. Potential research topics include the followings:

A. Discrete variable photonic quantum information
- Entangled photon pair generation and its applications to quantum information processing
- High-dimensional quantum information processing with multi-partite entanglement and/or hyper entanglement
- Quantum secure communication including quantum key distribution

B. Solid state quantum information
- Efficient solid state single photon sources
- Spin-photon interfaces based on color centres in solids
- Quantum metrology

Applicants who have backgrounds on optics/photonics, nanophotonics, AMO, spin resonance are highly encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold a PhD degree. Interested candidates can contact to Dr. Yong-Su Kim (yong-su.kim@kist.re.kr) or Dr. Young-Wook Cho (ywcho@kist.re.kr) with a CV including a complete list of publications. The application should be made no later than 31 Aug, 2016.
