Postdoctoral Job opening in quantum error prevention methods

We anticipate having an opening for a postdoctoral position in the research group of Prof. Mark Byrd within the next two or three months. Applications will be reviewed beginning December 1, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled. The position is for research in quantum error prevention methods. The applicant should have some knowledge of quantum error correcting codes and fault-tolerant quantum computing. Knowledge of other error prevention methods, such as dynamical decoupling controls and decoherence-free subspaces would be beneficial. Applications should be sent to:
