Postdoctoral position in continuous quantum measurement at the University of California, Riverside

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Alexander Korotkov at the University of California, Riverside. The subjects of theoretical research are continuous quantum measurement, quantum feedback, and error correction with superconducting qubits. The theory will be closely related to experiments performed in the group of Prof. Siddiqi at UC Berkeley. Applicants are expected to have previous experience in at least one of the following theoretical subjects: quantum measurement, quantum trajectories, superconducting qubits, cavity/circuit QED, quantum opto/electromechanics, quantum computing.
Salary level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience (anticipated range is $43-55 K/year). The position can start as early as in September 2015 and not later than in January 2016. The initial appointment will be made for one year, with possible extension for one or two more years.
