Quantum Experiments
IBM Research is seeking Research Staff Members with outstanding background in experimental quantum computing, quantum control, and microwave measurements. Candidates will focus on improving quantum gates in multi-qubit systems and are expected to work closely with theorists to model device physics and develop novel gate implementations in superconducting qubits. Rich collaboration with other members of the quantum computing team is expected.

Education requirements:

PhD in in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

3 years research experience in experimental quantum computing or quantum control
Demonstrated record of research accomplishments

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Programming experience in python
Experience with microwave electronics
