PhD Opportunities in Quantum Communication at the University of Padua!
We are looking for motivated candidates to join our research group at the University of Padua (Italy) and work on cutting-edge topics in Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNG) for ground and space!
Several fully funded PhD scholarships are available in the field of quantum communication for the 41st PhD cycle:
- 14 scholarships with free research topics
- 4 scholarships with specific research topics, including:
- Design, development, and characterization of integrated photonic QKD systems (2 positions).
- Development of a multidimensional QKD system for an ESA project (1 position).
- Development of a free-space QKD system funded by ThinkQuantum (1 position).
